How To Create A Converting Sales Page

5/09/23

If you’re struggling to increase conversions on your website, it’s possible that you may have missed some small steps that could make a big difference in driving your sales. Sometimes even small changes can have a significant impact on your conversion rates, so don’t give up just yet!

Here are a few best practices when trying to create a converting sales page:

Create a Compelling Headline

This is an extremely important step!  The headline is the first thing a user sees when visiting your sales page. It needs to be attention grabbing, but clear and concise. It’s important to tell visitors exactly what they will get from your product or service. Put yourself in their shoes. What is something that would make you stop and read?

Write Persuasive Copy

With a compelling headline comes a body of text that is just as important. Using emotional triggers in your copy is a great way to evoke a personal response. People make decisions based on emotion or feeling, so try to write something that taps into one’s potential struggles, pain points, or simply inspires them. To push your persuasive copy to the next level, share a story of how your product or service has helped someone else. Storytelling is such a powerful way to build trust in customers and allow them to connect with your product or service in a deeper way.

Social Proof

To further build trust in your customers, include customer reviews and testimonials on your sales page. Displaying the experiences others have had with your product or service will help visitors feel more confident in their decision to buy from you. Think about how many times you have read reviews on a product or service. The chances of someone purchasing from a business with zero reviews or any proof of positive claims is quite slim.

Clear Call-To-Action

A clear call-to-action is crucial if you want to see an increase in conversions. Think of this as the last step to really persuade a potential customer to purchase your product or service. The call-to-action should stand out visually from the rest of your page with contrasting colors and/or bold fonts to attract attention. Something like: “Limited Time Offer” or “Only 5 Spots Available” will create a sense of urgency. While text like “Unlock Your Full Potential” will emphasize the benefits and encourage visitors into taking action.

By implementing these steps, you should be able to see a significant boost in conversion. And remember, when using these tips always keep your target audience in mind and continuously test and optimize your page to ensure the best results.
